World’s famous tress, plants, flowers and herbs names are given below:

Anodyne:Herbs, which relieves pain.

Ash:A valuable American timber tree with silver-grey bark and strong wood, black ash, blue ash. Mountain ash and prickly ash are not true ash.

Bamboo:A woody perennial grass of warm and tropical regions. It has rounded, hollow, jointed stalks, used in building material. Furniture, utensils, paper and flutes are also made of it.

Camphor (Natural):It is obtained by steam distillation of wood of the camphor tree. Native to China, Japan and Taiwan. Used in making celluloid, explosives and moth preventives and in medicine and perfumery.

Carnation:Name given to the numerous double-flowered cultivated varieties of the clove-pink. It is a garden plant of Europe.

Chrysanthemum:National flower of Japan. It may be grow from seed, but are more usually reproduced by cutting or division.

Cinchona:Genus of shrubs and trees. From the bark of some species is produced quinine. It was introduced in India, Sri Lanka and Philippines.

Cinquefoil:Genus of plants, belonging to rose family.

Coca:Cocaine shrubs in Bolivia and Peru.

Cocoa:Food product made from cocoa bean, fruit of tropical tree.

Coconut:Fruit of the palm, native to India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and other South Asian countries. Its fruit is eaten. Oil, sweats, face cream is also made. The leaves are woven into mats, baskets and ropes etc.

Date:Genus of palms. Native of North Africa, southwest Asia and Parts of India and Pakistan. Its fruit is eaten. Juice is also made.

Eucalyptus:Native to Australia. Soap, medicines and disinfectants are made from its leaves.

Gooseberry:Edible fruit: The flowers are green and fruits are generally globular.

Jasmine:Genus of plants of the oleaceae family. National floral symbol of Pakistan. Oil is used in perfumery. Native of Iran, India, Pakistan, China and Europe.

Jute:Annual tropical plant, grown for fiber which lies between outer bark and central wood. Bags are made from its fiber.

Mahogany:Valuable hardwood obtained chiefly from the West Indian or Spanish mahogany tree, native to the West Indies and USA. Wood is used for making furniture.

Myrrh:Name for small thorny tree of genus commiphora of East Africa and Arabia. It is an aromatic shrub.

Pine:A tree native to India and China.

Sultana:A kind of raisin from grapes grown in Turkey.

Sandal Wood:Name of several fragrant tropical woods. The wood is made into various wares. The oil is used in perfumery.

Teak:A tree native to India, Thailand and Myanmar. Wood is used in ship building and agriculture implements.
